CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS FOR FILMMAKERS

Sunday October 21 2018, 2pm – 5pm

Contracts are an essential part of protecting your rights as a content creator and are necessary to avoid miscommunication and risk at every stage from pre-production to hiring crew, from payment to distribution. In this workshop, participants will receive an overview of some of the most common contracts used in the film and television industry and examine common legal issues that arise in the creative process. Participants will also review what can be managed on their own and when to seek the services of a legal professional
